Most investors understand the important principles of investment allocation. In essence, investment allocation can be defined as spreading investment dollars among different asset types (i.e., cash, bonds, stocks, etc.). In doing so, investors reduce the volatility of their portfolios, resulting in more stable returns. Given this importance, the Investment Account Manager provides several measurements of allocation: asset allocation, sector allocation, size allocation, and diversification objectives of mutual and exchange traded funds. Users can set target allocations within Investment Account Manager and then compare current allocation with targets to identify rebalancing needs.

The 'Portfolio Values' tab of the Investment Account Manager accumulates holdings and values a portfolio based on recent market prices. Portfolio securities are segregated according to type, with the following information provided for instant review: type, security, quantity, unit cost, total cost, market price, market value, unrealized gain/loss, and % gain/loss.
